Eva is a multidisciplinary artist who likes to meld together well practiced skills with some that are learnt on the go as any given project progresses. Projects have included skills such as sewing, tufting, collage, paper mâchè, painting, beading, reconstruction or revamp of old items and prop construction.
Primarily a photographer regularly using digital, film and polaroid Eva has a keen artist eye for costume, figure and scene setting. Eva believes in minimal use of post production editing to try and capture the best image possible with what the element present at the time.
Eva makes or styles outfits from thrifted, recycled, reused and literal trash items. The purpose is for the viewer to witness that whilst expensive lace and couture gowns are wonderful there is beauty to be found in your rubbish bin.
